Labor Day visitation to Las Vegas expected to rise

More visitors are expected to travel to southern Nevada this Labor Day weekend, but they might spend less than last year, according to local tourism officials.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is projecting 290,000 visitors during the holiday weekend, up 2.8 percent compared with the 282,000 tourists who visited last year.
